Thus far the links for high school age students do not deal specifically with gifted/LD students. There are links for preparing the gifted or the learning disabled for life after high school. All of these links emphasize the need for early and continual planning.

Post school employment, especially for the learning disabled not going to college, is important. This site discusses what to look for in employment and provides a list of characteristics that may contribute to difficulties learning disabled individuals may experience in the workforce.

Landmark, the nation's only accredited college exclusively for students with learning disabilities and ADHD, is offering the following free workshops beginning in February. All workshops run from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Check web site for registration dates.
